Headed out really early the other day to Chloe's place. She's like one of the few most awesome friend I've ever had lah! Because the day before the other day, we've actually planned on heading over to Cathay Cineleisure Orchard to do some filming for my entry for Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation Challenge, but we didn't because we were soooooo tired! So Chloe actually told me that she'll be free to help me for the whole of this week, so I got up really early the next day and headed over to her place to get ready!
Cathay Cineleisure Orchard had always been my hang out spot ever since I was really young. To be honest, I spend almost 1/2 of my life there. No matter what I do, I'm always near Cineleisure, and I will always end up spending my day over there until the last train leaves. Like back when I was still a dancer, my studio actually moved from Tanjong Pagar to SCAPE, so I'll have to visit Somerset at least 3 times a week for my lessons. And I would hang out with my dance-mates and instructor at Cineleisure's XinWang HK Restaurant until it's time for my last train home!
And then I got a job at A&F.. Before I start work, I'll always be at Cineleisure eating away. And on Saturdays, my clique and I would meet up at Cineleisure for a casual movie or dinner at Wà Shabu Shabu. I have so much memory there I think one post wouldn't be enough for me to elaborate everything, xD
So Chloe loaned me a dress of her's for filming because she feels that I should start wearing dresses(Has never been a fan of dresses ever since I left uniformed school days.) Because we were sooooo hungry, we made a beeline to Nihon Mura for lunch immediately upon reaching Cathay Cineleisure Orchard.
Sixpegs has also talked about Nihon Mura! View her post here! She is also the co-owner of The Tiramisu Hero!

The menu!

And clips for you to order dishes that cannot be taken from the belt!

You'll have to clip your clips onto the board(food) of your choice! The boards will be running on the belt as well!

I totally love the lighting there. But I was too hungry, so I didn't camwhore a lot. And it's so cheap! @ only $1.50 per plate! CHOMPS AWAY.

Look at the amount of food we took the moment we sat down! You could see a lot of salmon dishes there.. Yes, we're both die-hard salmon fans. Nomnomnom...

Salmon,

salmon,

salmon,

and more salmon!

The don't-bother-me-i'm-eating shot.

Ordered my favourite Cha Soba and Chawanmushi!

Amount of food I ate! That's not all. There are still some plates but we couldn't stack them anymore because it's going too high, hahaha!
So gentlemen, if you're looking for a place to dine in for a date, you could visit Nihon Mura at Cathay Cineleisure Orchard's basement!
All items go for just $1.50 per plate! And they have a wide variety of sushi and japanese cuisine to chose from!
Ah, my sushi crave is back again. I WANT TO GO NIHON MURA NAOOOOOO.

Challenge #1 requires me to introduce you guys a good place for a date, and a place where you could dine when you're rushing for a movie! So, for the later, I am introducing you guys..... ARTEASE!

I actually really like this place because they have a really unique interior. As their name depicts, the interior has this wall of art and is covered with mostly black and white coloured furnitures, which I think is really cool! Because our previous generation had always focus more on fortune telling and luck kind of stuff, so they always think that a shop front should always look bright with red colours(More huat, you know.).

Probably cause I'm an art student, I actually feel really comfortable chilling my time here. If I wasn't rushing for a movie, I'll probably sit here for the whole day with a cup of delicious Almond Tea Latte and doing nothingness. You could even bring your date here to chill and catch up about life! I personally think it's rather romantic. Two straws in a monster jug, with the both of you sipping from it and staring lovingly into each other's eye... Romantic or what? 8D
Oh ya, Monster Jug is actually a really huge cup of bubble tea. Something like this....

But, if you're rushing for a movie, you could dine-in here as well! Because they have really nice waffles + ice cream. MUAHAHAHA. Yet another one of my favourite food.. Hehehehe.

My Almond Tea Latte.

Wholemeal Waffles with Salted Caramel Ice Cream, topped with Chocolate sauce!
Super noms. This could definitely last me through the movie!

Alternatively, you could also head to 7-11, THE STORE AND MORE! Like literally. I'm actually a rather huge fan of 7-11 and I sincerely thank the CEO for having so many outlets in Singapore because everywhere I go, whenever I'm hungry or when I want to have something to chew on, I'll definitely see a 7-11 store somewhere near to me. Probably within 100m walk.
And you know what made it even better? They have a store located in Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, right beside Famous Amos! They're like my saviour because whenever I'm hungry before a movie, and I'm tight on cash, I'll head over to 7-11 to grab a package of Butter Chicken Nasi Bryani accompanied with a Big Gulp!
Alright! That had pretty much concluded my post for Cineleisure's Next Online Sensation Challenge #1! A short video I did for this challenge! I hope you guys had enjoyed reading and do support me in the upcoming challenges!
Muahmuahmuahmuah!
